For the 17th consecutive year, Members of VFW Post 12002 have planned and will be staffing, along
with volunteers from other organizations, the Freedom Fighters Open. This golf tournament-based
fundraiser is always held on the Friday before Veteran's Day at the BridgeMill Golf Course.
The net proceeds from the event benefit Operations Santa Charities Inc (OSCI), a Georgia
non-profit corporation whose primary mission is the support of the families of Georgia Troops
deployed overseas during the winter holidays. OSCI is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3)
Charity, so all Golfer Fees, Sponsorships, and other Donations are 100% tax-deductible.
This year, the event is being held on Friday, November 10.
Registration begins at 7:30 am; the Opening Ceremony starts at 9:15 am.
