The Freedom Fighters Open is a fund-raising event conducted by Operation Santa Charities, Inc., an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charitable corporation headquartered in Georgia. This charity was started in 2003 by the members of VFW Post 12002 with the intent of using funds raised from private and corporate donors to provide support for Georgia's Veterans and their families, and to recognize deserving Law Enforcement, First Responders, Teachers, and Students in the local community.
The Freedom Fighters Open is held each year on the Friday before Veterans Day at the Bridge Mill Golf Club in Canton, Georgia. The event is centered around a Golf Tournament and regularly attracts 120 or more golfers. The event also includes cars for Holes-in-One on the Par 3's, a Silent Auction, a Raffle, a Ball Drop with a high-quality firearm as a prize, and a Guest of Honor from the military community.
This year’s event will be on November 4
at the Bridge Mill Golf Club in Canton, Georgia.
Registration begins at 8:30 am and
the Opening Ceremony starts at 10:00 am.
